This blog is looking a little blank so I figured I would fill you all in on what’s going on while we are closed.

Becky and I have been working feverishly getting everything ready for the January 11th, 2010 Brides World Bridal Show. This is our first bridal show that we will be attending so we want to go all out and do it in style. Unfortunately, that means we need get a ton of stuff together. I re-branded everything so we had to go about getting mass quantities of business cards, price lists and other marketing material all put together. On the plus side, the folks at WHCC hooked us up with some amazing materials that we are really proud to have our name on them. We have about five Brides World passes that each gets up to three people in the door for free (a $15 value) so just comment below and they are all yours! I can get more so comment away and I will try my best to get everyone a voucher.

On top of all that, I am completely re-designing a brand new flash web site that I want to go live before the bridal show. We have taken so many great pictures since we opened up as Michael Alan Photography some three years ago that it is hard to choose what pics should be showcased on there. I also need to get additional content for this blog-site set up and ready to go. We ditched the past two blogs of ours and are starting from scratch again so it will be nice to have some pictures on here that represent our style and to let everyone know what we offer. I also have to do some cleaning up of this blog and make it more polished looking. It’s amazing what one can do with a degree in computer programming huh?

All this has been keeping us quite busy but I still have time to continue my inLIGHTin Workshops. Never in my wildest dreams did I ever think that it my workshops would be going so well. Teaching photography is really a passion for me and I love being able to share my knowledge with others.

We have one more wedding to shoot on New Years Eve and then our wedding season for 2009 is over. We will still be in correspondence with our current customers even though we are closed for a couple weeks to enjoy the holidays. You know where to reach us if you need anything.
